Universal Product Codes (also known as GTIN-12) appear as black lines of varying widths above a series of numbers. The UPC is a 12-digit unique code for your product. Scanners at supermarkets read the bars and translate them back into the 12-digit number. This number is associated in the computer system of each retailer that carries your product with your product’s name, price, etc. You supply your retailer with this information when you sign your agreement with them to carry your product.

We are very much a legal organization, and our barcodes originate with the Uniform Code Council, the only legal source. Once you have purchased the UPC barcode from us, all you have to do is register your product with the retailer/store where you want to place your product for sale. The retailer enters your 12-digit UPC code and information on pricing, product name, company name etc. We even have a certificate available stating that the UPC numbers have been assigned by us to you and only you. We not only supply you with the barcode numbers but we even create the actual UPC barcode image for you. Your $89 entitles you to a scan-quality Adobe Photoshop image with your numbers and bars already generated!!! Please see our FAQ for additional details.
We offer barcode image creation for those of you who already have a UPC or EAN number, or a UCC company prefix. Please click here to learn more about this service.
